Row of Flowers (Turnera subulata)

| Sibu - Sarawak |

Turnera subulata is a flowering plant species of family Turneraceae known by the common names white buttercup, sulphur alder, politician's flower, dark-eyed turnera, and white alder. In Malaysia, this plant is introduced species (not native), usually planted along roadside of an oil palm estate to attract insect pollinators. It also a common flower used in landscape design. This photo was captured in August 2010, during a sampling trip in an oil plam estate in Sibu with collegue. I like the arrangement of the flowers.
